RB, #25, re: "Ladies & Gentlemen of the United States of America,
Whoever you consider as your next POTUS this year, focus your attention on one detail:
if she or he is eventually remote nano tech mind controlled
- unnatural strange behaviour not corresponding her / his past personality ?
- emotional or apparent physical coldness despite her / his spirit feeling hot ?
Left or right wing doesn't matter :
the mind controlers will use the person to sabotage
the country as much as possible. In any doubt / fog
preventive measures should be taken in emergency :
limit the next president and his (- mind control possibility -) team
by mounting a countrywide "check & balance" mechanism : local & cyber .
People individually voting on any future gov measure (referendum) is such
a mechanism, informally relying on our actual public services and leaders is another
Current administration can make that strategic response abilities for superior interest"

This is an excellent summation of what I've been channeling recently concerning the policies the Invisible College advocates for the USA over the next few years.

Reading the agendas and the Oriental horoscopes too, Trump is not electable, nor is Cruz. Or, if the wisdom of the planet decides they are, there must be a special point we don't know of.
I don't think bio mind control is an important issues, hunky dory if it is. In my vision implant internet is near and it is not dangerous at all - it would serve the user communities and not the transpersonal companies or the government.
What decides my vote is the foreign policy. The KGB (FSB) is serving a platter of false propaganda to the EU and the USA about many issues every day: the Crimean vote, Russian occupation of parts of Ukraine, and the Russian power's paranoid world view. They want to reinstate the Soviet Union - although under nationalistic, Orthodox Christian and pan-Slavic ideology. Read Alexander Dugin, chief ideologue of Vladimir Putin.

This is a regime every bit as repressive as Saddam Hussein's was, gunning down oppositions leaders in the middle of Moscow, murdering journalists bestially for investigative reporting and banning and harassing all opposition media. Plus they pay hundreds of thousands of paid commentators whose strategy is to flood all Western opposition or critical or left-wing portals and forums. They all but won the ideological war.

I'd say stop buying gas from the Russians - go to other sources instead. It's only 20-30% of the EU's energy needs. Pala gas from the US.

They are aligned with Assad's murderous Alawite regime who still trade for oil with the Islamic State (Daesh). They are aligned with another tyrannical state starting to be Putinesquely maffioso-style plus fundamentalistically Islamic - Erdogan's Turkey (though no doubt there are shootouts and conflicts.) Russia has a declared goal to control Europe and send the "American Satan" away. Weapons and business and all.

So how does a Potus react to this? Dislike as I did Reagan, he managed to pressure them to drop the empty dreams of and European empire. Leading Russian dissident, chess world champion Garri Kasparov shows painstakingly in his recent book all from every single Western leader Putin and Medvedev, his puppy got, were friendly handshakes and help and commitment to technology transfers... plus recognition of the "Russian sphere of interests" meaning many countries such as my country of birth where I reside now, Hungary.

I would be glad if Hillary did not make the same mistake as she did when she was Secretary of State years ago.

I would vote for foreign policy wisdom, being in touch with intelligence and economic data and not trying to make bridges instead of landfalls.

From the speeches Trump has started making over the last couple of days, it looks like he's now trying to make himself electable (and at same time defuse the effort by the GOP Party leadership to give the nomination to some other Republican during the Convention). He's saying he's trying to "become more Presidential" and he definitely seems to be toning down the inflamatory rhetoric he's been using so far. However, I expect this effort ot fail, because virtually every word he's uttered while posing as a right-wing populist has been recorded in video form, and will be thrown back at him by the Democrats during the rest of the campaign. And IMO, Cruz has even less chance of getting either nominated or elected, simply because he's much too conservative for either the GOP leadership or the voting public.

re: "I don't think bio mind control is an important issues, hunky dory if it is. In my vision implant internet is near and it is not dangerous at all - it would serve the user communities and not the transpersonal companies or the government."

I've been saying this for about ten years, and as computer and telecommunications technology continues to advance, I see increasing amounts of evidence that this bottom-up empowerment is indeed happening.

I agree with everything you just said. Your knowledge of the details about Russia and the EU far exceeds mind. And I'm sure that if Hillary gets elected, there's danger that she'll make the same mistakes again, because she'll still be the mouthpiece for the same politicians operating behind the scenes. However, I'm hoping that this whole group of people has learned enough from trial and error to do better in the future than they did in the past ... and of course, they actually didn't do that bad anyway. It was the Republicans who created the present war between Islamic extremists and the West, and Democrats have since been trying to do damage control and harm reduction. Of course, if Trump, Cruz, or any other Republican gets elected President, I'll be very, very frightened ... but right now, I see this as being extremely unlikely.

29PostSubject: Re: POTUS Election 2016   Sat Apr 30, 2016 6:24 pm

I watched the Donald Trump appearance in Burlingame yesterday pretty much continuously on CNN, and my initial impression was that there had been a significant amount of violence during the early phases of the protests, enough to justify Trump and his entourage walking from the freeway and going into the hotel through the back door. This conclusion was supported by the fact that the CNN reporters covering the event kept saying that, "Violent demonstrations actually increase public sympathy for Trump." and by Trump's comments during his appearance that the protests had been violent enough to make him feel it was necessary to sneak into the event.

However, I kept wondering why so little actual violence had been shown. There were endless repeats of footage showing a young Trump supporter with his face all bloody and a bandage on his head, but the medical people weren't acting as if his injuries were serious. There were also multiple repeats of a shot showing people rocking a single police car, but without turning it over or setting it on fire, but no other news clips showing violence by the demonstrators. And now that the whole story is appearing in the newspapers, it's obvious that the protests were as close to being completely non-violence as demonstrations of this type ever get.

My guess at this point is that Trump and his staff planned in advance to enter the hotel from the rear, to gain sympathy from the public and to make all of their opposition look bad. As far as I can tell, no one in the mass media has directly called them on this yet, but the article excerpt below hints at it, and provides plenty of supporting evidence:

Tense Protests Near Donald Trump's California Speech Site
By MEGHAN KENEALLY JOSH HASKELL  Apr 29, 2016, 11:01 PM ET

Protesters gathered outside a California venue today as Donald Trump prepared to speak there.

The street outside the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Burlingame, where Trump was going to address the California GOP Convention near San Francisco, was closed in advance of the event.

There were an estimated 250 to 300 protesters gathered outside from a collection of different groups, including Code Pink and Black Lives Matter, as well as supporters of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

Trump likely did not see any of the protests because he entered the building via a back entrance after exiting his motorcade at the side of the highway and walking up a grassy hill before entering the hotel.

"That was not the easiest entrance I've ever made... it felt like I was crossing the border actually," Trump joked at the beginning of his remarks.

"I'm coming through dirt and mud and under fences. … I’m looking at myself I’m trying to get all the dust and everything off," Trump said.

Frank Lara, 30, was one of the 40 or so members of the Act Now to Stop War & End Racism (ANSWER) Coalition who protested Trump near the front of the hotel. Even though he said the group's initial goal was to shut down the convention, Lara told ABC News that they were not disappointed that Trump didn't go through the main entrance since helicopter news cameras captured Trump's awkward alternative route.

"We consider it quite a success," Lara said.

Lara said they started planning the protests about two weeks ago after learning that Trump would be in the area, taking issue with his stances "against immigrants, against the Latin community and against the Muslim community."

Some protesters were seen holding the Mexican flag and others were wearing costumes. A group of protesters knocked down a barrier near the front of the hotel and about 50 people got close to the entrance but did not get inside. Police then formed a line to hold them back which appeared to work for the time being.

One man wearing a green bandanna over his face was seen punching the glass windows of the hotel, and others yelled at him to stop saying "we're not about that." He didn't cause any damage, but others like him seem determined to get inside the Hyatt Regency

Some protesters threw eggs at the hotel, others chased a man wearing a Trump t-shirt off the property.

A campaign organizer for Code Pink, a grassroots peace organization of women, said that one of their supporters booked her a room in the Hyatt overnight.

The supporter, Nancy Mancias, stayed there until this morning before she went down to the convention floor at around 9:30 a.m. and started chanting "Stop hate! Dump Trump!"

Mancias said she was quickly, but gently, escorted out of the building by hotel security. She said they had been planning it for about a week and was on the fence initially, saying she "was worried about being thrown into jail or Guantanamo" but decided to go for it.

"As I got closer, I just decided, you know someone's got to do it and what would be better than a protester from Code Pink?" she told ABC News.

A man wearing a suit and a "Make America Great Again" hat was seen walking near a group of protesters, some of whom were seen hitting the man, who was believed to be a supporter of the Republican front-runner.

Other than the above incident, today's protests were said to be largely peaceful, which comes in contrast to the protests that were held near a Trump event in Los Angeles Thursday night. More than a dozen arrests were made and some protesters were seen damaging police cars.

It looks like extremism is here to stay for the time being... fiery conflicts.
The astro factor (Hindu with some Western planets thrown in for good measure) reassures me as I wrote above that Mr. Trump will fall - latest during the early Fall, after Mars and Saturn conjuncts in August and Jupiter exits the Indian-sidereal Simha sign (corresponding to Leo) and RR has given the realistic reasons for it. Yet I expect it to be a violent and fiery issue - the guy has staked possibly hundreds of millions plus a lot of energy on this POTUS shot.

All we can do is try to help online and telepathically those who back Clinton that she learn from the mistakes of the past. Yes, I also think that it was extreme Rep politics - particularly the Iraq war - that got the world into this mess, near the brink of a world war or at least several major ones. And generally Democratic politicians in the US are more willing to learn from trial and error...

I don't know much about Cruz but it seems to me that it may be an euphemism to call him too "Conservative." Or perhaps I'm in a more ideological mood... at any rate, I would translate the word Conservative to someone who is actually trying to preserve - "conserve" - something that is good and working in human society, tested by time. By this honest Conservatives include (in the West in my experience) both some authoritarian measures and down-to-earth stuff (like not mincing around the issue of the authority of a teacher at school for example or asserting the simple authority of parents) with some philosophy of live-and-let-live... In a way, the American Conservative I talked to in the eighties and nineties was quite near the Confucian type in the East.

Is Cruz really an example of this or is he simply too aggressive and bigoted?

As a contrast, I felt that certain recent issues of "Conservativism" in the West were really more like a populist-Fascist line, heavily allied with very specific Theocratic traditions (the neo-Christians and the nationalist Israeli right wing), and they have nothing to do with the Anglo-Saxon traditions of Conservativism... Some of them sound to me positively anti-Enlightenment, that is, they simply want to reset society to the times before the French and the American Revolutions.

It would be helpful for some people in this campaign to clear up this issue and find better verbal equivalents and descriptions of the agenda of people like Cruz. Or even Mr. Delirium Tremens...

A very simple issue: personally, in the way they come across, all the Conservative people I personally knew were very patient and very polite. They were confident that time has tested their ways and people will see the truth of their individualism, capitalism, respect of religions or whatever. In contrast, I see and hear people like Rush and Donald as some sort of Fascist orators, constantly frothing with rage...

My Guides are still telling me what they've said all along, which is essentially the same as what you just wrote, minus the astrological references. My personal intuition has always told me it's very probable that Trump will "fall in the Fall", before the election, most likely by violence, physical or mental illness, or devastating psychic attacks. I don't see partisan politics, at home or abroad, as being directly involved. However, if such a thing happens, it will throw the Republicans and American conservatism in general into total chaos, guaranteeing the Democrats will get into control of the government for quite some time to come, but causing national and international fiscal instability that could easily cause wars and depressions that could be worse than having someone like Trump or Cruz in the White House.

Well, the Obama Administration has actually done a pretty good job in spite of semi-successful GOP attempts to sabotage everything constructive they attempted on both the political and economic levels. A Clinton Administration would have essentially the same people still in power, with only the job titles changed, so I see no reason why it shouldn't do better, because of having much weaker opposition.

I see Ted Cruz as a politician who is indeed trying to be a conservative of the type you just defined, without realizing that this is no longer possible on either the social or fiscal levels. The ever-increasing tolerance for cultural diversity and self-empowerment from the bottom up are both generated by modern technology itself, and the Information Revolution is beginning to have the same impact on economic activities that the Industrial Revolution had during the 19th and 20th centuries. Automation of physical production and the replacement of physical economic activities with virtual ones are rapidly making the labor standard of distribution of goods and services obsolete, and steering all the advanced nations towards an economy based on abundance rather than scarcity. One day quite soon, people all over the Western World are going to suddenly wake up and start saying, "There is plenty of everything to satisfy everybody's basic needs, if we just start handing it out on a fair and equal basis. And enough people will still want to work to get more to meet the economy's labor needs."

re: "As a contrast, I felt that certain recent issues of 'Conservativism' in the West were really more like a populist-Fascist line, heavily allied with very specific Theocratic traditions (the neo-Christians and the nationalist Israeli right wing), and they have nothing to do with the Anglo-Saxon traditions of Conservativism... I've always felt that being "anti-Enlightenment" and wanting to return to a pre-industrial social and political order while continuing to live in a modern technological civilization on the physical level is more of a mental illness than a legitimate belief system. And the same is true of all forms of fundamentalist religion. It seems obvious that the only way people could successfully live either lifestyle would be to reject modern technology and create their own economy based on human and animal labor to do farming and manufacturing.

Yes! You hit the nail on the head. These people are frankly mad. They have an idée fixe that everything modern is bad - true, genetic modifications, radioactivity and climate change is in the negative balance, but computers, cell phones and the sheer fact that all the geniuses of the world are flocking to the US deeply counteract this.

With what I saw in New England last year, the US is basically a functional society despite the extremism. So I hope sanity will win, however boring it would be. Only a disenchanted minority would vote for Trump, because the US is a Dwapara society, deeply committed to technological progress, innovation and strangely enough to sharing - since the Information Age dawned upon us.

Anti-Enlightenment is especially strange in the USA since the whole country was created in the American Revolution. Even the most committed religious right believes in the unalterable Constitution. Europe is in contrast falling apart though I feel the center would hold. The situation is similar to what happened in Greece when the Roman Empire was in ascendance and the Persian Empire (then Zoroastrian) was attacking the Greek city-states.
