A great deal of research was conducted on the aloe vera plant back in the 1970's.

Why would Dr. Ben Carson make such claims?
I believe that he made these statement because he seriously considered that they were true!

http://www.thedailybeast.com/article...ncer-scam.html

Inside Ben Carson’s Cancer Scam
Quote :
‘Glyconutrients’ worked so well that the doctor said he didn’t need to have surgery. So why did he wait until he was a spokesman to say how they saved his life?

Carson was a spokesman for Mannatech, which claimed its “glyconutrients” could treat cancer, autism, multiple sclerosis, and AIDS. “The wonderful thing about a company like Mannatech is that they recognize that when God made us, He gave us the right fuel,” Carson said in a 2013 speech praising the company. On Wednesday, he denied any involvement with Mannatech.

Carson even credited the supplements as being powerful enough that he didn’t need surgery for advanced prostate cancer. Dallas Weekly reported in a 2004 interview that Carson “said his decision to have a medical procedure resulted from his concern for those people who might neglect traditional medical procedures because they had learned of his personal experience with supplements.”

Note...... the article quoted is an attempt to discredit Dr. Ben Carson both as a physician......... as well as a political candidate................. but this illustrates how firm Dr. Ben Carson's belief is that nutritional sugars have great potential to assist conventional treatments to be more effective.

Dr. Ben Carson..... like myself..... believes firmly that the 1970's research on the aloe vera plant that resulted in the discovery of a nutritional sugar, (labelled mannose)..... has a great deal of potential.

Impressive tests are taking place in Kenya that prove that nutritional sugars do somehow help HIV patients.

We actually knew that since the '80's or '90's though! (Incidentally.... aloe vera juice can be purchased at Walmart for about ten dollars per gallon)!

Glyconutrients Offer Real Hope in Battle Against HIV, According to African Leaders

Quote :
"Glyconutrients have proven to be effective in the fight against HIV/AIDS,' said the Honourable Edith Grace Ssempala, the Ugandan ambassador to the United States".

Re
Speaking about Glyconutrients which are offered by Amatsuhealth, founder Sukh Padda said:
cently Dr Ben Akenga a well-respected Kenyan surgeon said "The use of glyconutrients is one of the most critical strategies for supporting the body's normal healing functions,". 'We have had tremendous success using glyconutrients while treating people infected with HIV/AIDS in Kenya."

Dr Akenga said that the patients that he treated with glyconutrients were in terminal stages with many clinical manifestations of HIV/AIDS along with many of its complications. They were bed-ridden and were brought to the hospital to die while their families made funeral arrangements, he said. 'To my amazement and to the amazement of my colleagues, all of the patients who were treated with glyconutrients were up and walking within two to three weeks,' he said. 'In the 15 years that I have been dealing with the virus, I had never seen anything like this. They were discharged from the hospital and prescribed anti-retroviral drugs which they had not been given earlier because of their weakened medical conditions.'

I've been reading accounts similar to this about herbal medicine all my life, because both the American counterculture and occult communities have always been fascinated with them. And there is no doubt that quite a few important medications have been discovered by scientists who have isolated the active curative ingredients from various plants traditionally used for healing. Aspirin from willow bark is a good historical example, and so are a long list of antibiotics and other drugs. However, I never become interested in such discoveries until they start receiving major attention from the Western medical establishment, which may be about to happen in this case, but hasn't yet.

I think that there is enough evidence on that particular one to warrant some alternative way to finance research.

This is the type of thing that could inspire hundreds then thousands of us to unite and organize something like.

http://www.politicalforum.com/political-opinions-beliefs/341564-new-age-communities-can-print-local-currencies-finance-films-address-problems.html

New Age Communities can print local currencies finance films that address problems?!
At this time I tend to believe that New Age Groups may be the most likely to successfully initiate local currencies and use them to finance film projects in which homeless people could become actors playing the role of homeless people.... .which could easily finance their buying or renting homes????!!!!

My experience is that it's much easier for "alternative" people of all types to raise money or do anything else of a physical nature in any modern Western society by generating publicity in whatever communications media we have free or cheap access to than by trying to take direct action. IMO, local currencies are primarily for use in emergencies, and the rest of the time are only useful locally to avoid having to pay taxes, get business licenses, possess formal credentials to do a certain kind of work, etc. And I also believe the medical research you're speculating about is already underway and looks promising enough that it's going to receive adequate financing through the channels already in place.

Fascinating!

I so hope that you are correct........

but in the meanwhile I am working on a variation of this that could emerge out of my area of the world......

CanSo Dollars... could finance a Unified Theory of Modern World Problems?!
I have just this morning announced my plans to campaign for the office of Municipal Councillor,
in the St. Mary's District in Guysborough County, Nova Scotia.

But I am going to propose the printing up of a local currency in the nearby area of
the economically depressed town of Canso, Nova Scotia due to the fact that
they were at the centre of a movement began by Dr. Moses Coady and Fr. Jimmy Thompkins
during the era of our history portrayed in Sherbrooke Historic Village.

So many young people have moved away from the town of CanSo that they lost town status
back in 2012.

IMO, the printing up of a local currency is the saddle, and before it's of any use, you first have to get the horse, which is a cooperative business of some kind, owned by its employees and/or customers, and producing goods and services that can sold profitably in any available marketplace, on or off line. And in fact, the horse can usually be ridden without a saddle, because the products can be bought and sold using any medium of exchange acceptable to the buyer and seller at the time the transaction takes place: bit coin, checks or credit cards issued by any commercial bank both parties have an account at, etc.

Just adding this about asparagus, it also cures many diseases, including cancer.
I have got to find or get another copy of an article my cousin has on asparagus that tells what asparagus can cure.
I love asparagus, eat it often and so far am healthy.

I was raised believing that asparagus is indeed one of the healthiest foods one can eat, especially when you grow it yourself and eat the stalks either raw or lightly cooked shortly after harvesting it.

That is exceptionally good advice.........
I will try to come up with a plan that more fully takes this analogy into consideration.......

Areas of the world where apricots grow well
also have amazingly low incidences of cancer.....
as well as higher than average longevity combined with exceptionally good health........

If I remember correctly.. the Hunza Valley is one area where this happens.....

The results of the poll take here show how amazingly naive most of us are though.......

http://www.politicalforum.com/opinion-polls/294534-do-you-suspect-natural-cures-cancer-suppressed.html

Do you suspect that large companies suppress truth about natural remedies?Voters 102. You have already voted on this poll

No, that is ridiculous and absurd!!!!!!!!! 60.............58.82%

Sure....we all have an evil streak in us! 17..........16.67%

Yes, but misleading information on supposedly natural remedies is even worse! 27...........26.47%

My doctor would never do that!!!! 1............0.98%

Yeah, the majority of Americans are indeed as naive about this as the poll indicates. The reality is that the big drug companies have always invented most of their new medications by figuring out how to purify or synthesize the active ingredients in natural remedies, so its natural for them to claim that their meds work better and are safer.
